Chrysoprase Hoard Overseer & Poet  A writer, a dreamer, and a serious romantic, Chrys is the type to overthink almost everything, be it the answer's to life's Big Questions or what he's going to have for breakfast every morning. Because of this, he's sometimes mistaken for being slow or just strange, but he's actually very intelligent, especially when it comes to finances and organization. He's also the type to write letters to whoever will be happy to receive them (and even a few people who are less than happy to receive them), especially loved ones who are away. Chrys often sends letters checking up on both dragons from his birth clan clan and to dragons who have left his current one, as well as clanmates who are off on adventures and soon to return. Chrys also fancies himself something of a poet, and though he's very nervous about the possibility that he isn't good at his chosen craft despite how much he enjoys it, and he only shares his poem with his closest friends and, on occasion, his lovers. As for his job, Chrys takes being the overseer of the Hoard quite seriously. He archives everything very carefully, taking careful stocks and organizing everything with intense precision.

Yinxing: Chrys can always be seen writing love letters to his first ever mate, Yinxing, who (though he isn't in any type of exclusive relationship with her) he cares for dearly and has deep nostalgia about. If you ask him, he'll say that they're "love buddies," but he probably won't explain what that actually means. The choker he wears every day is a token from her, and he's very proud of it. Cassandra: Cass is Chrys's best friend and closest confidant. They spend long nights together reading, debating, and having long talks about life. (If some friendly cuddling happens, too, nobody has to know about it.) |
