Kinn
"Jewelry Maker" Kinn is a shy and nervous dragon by nature. A very sweet member of the Clan, he does have a tendency to become anxious quickly when things don't go as planned. Luckily jewelry making is a perfect profession for that type of disposition, and when Kinn's in charge, things just don't go wrong. Ever. Besides, it's always nice to be making things for his Clan, especially when talking to them can be so hard. N-not that they're not nice or he doesn't like them or doesn't appreciate them or......anything like that, just, they're so much more settled and mature than he is...Another one of Kinn's anxieties is that everyone else is just better than he is, and that they'll never like him, and - well, he has quite a number of worries, but he gets along. Pouring his heart into the detailed work of latticed gold and setting gemstones that complement everyone's scales perfectly is one of his ways of coping. In any case, it wasn't so bad until he lost Kith. He and his brother (though it was impossible to tell if they were, in fact, blood-related, as they had only been found as lost eggs) had been inseparable all throughout their early lives. Though Kinn begins to shake at the thought of disobeying his new home, he and Kith had originally caused plenty of trouble for their adopted mother. Only harmless pranks, of course - spooking the hatchlings or leaving glowbugs in Lumerian's tunics - after all, they all loved each other very much. And then one day she left, and nobody would tell them where she'd gone, and soon enough Kinn was packed away to the Fire Flight before he could even say a proper goodbye to his Clan or his brother. He can pick away at every one of his scales if he thinks about it for too long, so he turns back to the jewelry of the extensive forge they have. He loves his new Clan, of course! In the beginning...life was uncertain for Kinn, just like the ever fluctuating waves of energy that radiated from the Reaches. His tiny egg had been discovered alone and defenceless by Lumerian, and welcomed into the Order with open wings. It was agreed by all that he would be raised by Lumerian, as if he were her own.He hatched from his shell without problem, darting teal eyes stole first glimpses of his new family as he clutched to Lumerian who had held him close. As he got stronger, boldness grew within him as well as a taste for adventure.
A partner in crime was found in his younger brother Kith, whose egg had been found after the Order moved to the Starwood Strand. From the first moment they met, the two were inseparable. Capable of getting into untold amounts of trouble.
They spend hours playing and wrestling amongst the many crevices and hidden nooks in and around the dens, with many days ending by being sent to roost by a very stern looking Lumerian long after the others have fallen asleep.
Who knows what adventures they will find in the future...
