LEADER

PERSONALITY
Once a naive young Guardian, Kiara is now a clever trickster of a fae her small size hardly able to contain her large personality. Before the rebellion, she lived incredibly bitter and angry about her exile from the clan, using her intelligence and craftiness to her advantage. As the leader of the resistance she showed her bravery and heroism in the face of a terrifying, cruel dictator.

Sent to the clan when she was a hatchling as part of a trade agreement, Kiara has always tried to do what she believes is best for her clan. Initially an incredible supportive environment under the leadership of Ravenna, when control was seized by Poneros, the clan took a turn for the worse. Fearful, Kiara decided to change her form, afraid of the vulnerability her guardian size brought her. Having changed from an esteemed guardian to a lowly fae, Kiara was banished from the clan, threatened with death if she ever returned. Angry, she refused to leave, staying out of sight, creating just the right amount of commotion. She would have been turned in if she hadn't been blackmailing the entire clan.
Eventually, she grew convinced that Poneros needed to be ousted from power, latching on to the newcomer, a pretty Pearlcatcher named Brightheart, to help her organize a fight. Although most members were fearful, eventually she gained numerous supporters who felt that the reign of Poneros and Augustine needed to end. After months of fighting she and her ragtag rebels emerged victorious and she reluctantly accepted the position of leader within the clan. The clan made the decision to leave the domain of the water flight to escape the memories of the devastating rule, however, Kiara would not journey with them. During the rebellion, Brightheart was injured so badly she was no longer able to fly. Kiara, along with Magpie and Kingfisher, are making the journey on foot, unaware of the problems facing her clan in their new realm.
