Byzantium is one of Clan Tempest's longest-standing members, the second eldest and left as the clan's third in command after Titania and Solus's disastrous departures. Despite the many, many years in which she's been around, she still feels woefully unprepared for her responsibilities, despite Leviathan's assurances that she's under no obligation to do more work than she absolutely feels like she has to do - being one of the clan's fighters is responsibility enough. On the surface, Zanti is very laid back and courteous, often the main face that neighboring clans perceive when they run into the clan's battle parties. Nothing seems to faze her, and she reacts to even the most startling news with a sigh and a quiet utterance of "that's sure how it seems to be, huh" before she goes to deal with it. Despite everything, she's very capable of solving problems. It's kind of scary, actually. Unfortunately, living in this clan for so long has utterly ruined her ability to be even mildly impressed by anything, and that apathy just isn't fun for her! Hence, there was a strange period of time wherein she disappeared for a few days and returned a completely different dragon. As in, COMPLETELY; as in, for some reason, she was green now? It was so sudden that the clan collectively decided to test her to make sure she wasn't a complete stranger, which only ended when she recounted that time when Marimba got hit in the face with a Disorient and decided that he was going to quit being a dragon, run into the woods, and become a dryad? The clan got Zanti back, but lost Marimba to the depths of the clan vault, where he sulked for three days. This would be concerning if it were not a common occurrence. Zanti's fine, though. Just wanted a change of pace to look a little more mature. Or, according to Moreover, "she's going through a goth phase". Either works. |

They've put up with so much stuff over the years that they're just about inseparable.
