Jade

Jade originally hatched in The Ashfall Waste in a mining facility in the Emberglow Hearth. The dragons dwelling in that factory all had to have their breeding times and mates scheduled, so how his egg ended up in some desolate corner is anyone's guess. He was paid little heed by the workers in the facility, causing Jade to live off of the scraps of food dropped by workers. However, he was not alone in the facility if you don't count the workers. There were other hatchlings like him that lived in a tight-knit group in one of the facility's abandoned wings and the entire facility's air ducts. These hatchlings would make forays into the dining area of the facility to gather scraps to share with each other once a day. They knew when the cleaning crew would come to pick up the mess that would typically be left behind after each feeding, and even that was limited to two good handfuls of scraps. As a result, Jade was much like the rest of the hatchlings in the group. Malnourished and sickly, only getting a decent meal once a day. (W.I.P)
