Calathea

Calathea was hatched in the foxfire bramble, and left very quickly to wander the tangled wood on her own. Left to her own devices, she quickly took to organizing her resources and planning her trips around the darkness. She spent her days alone, winding between trees and other plant life, until one day, she stumbled upon a clan.

The dragons she met were a tangle of wings and limbs, food and treasure scattered about the lair haphazardly. She had never seen such a mess. Quickly, she offered her services and set about making places for things and organizing resources into neat piles and rows. It took her time, but the clan leader took notice of her talents, and appreciated her efforts. Crispin asked her to stay by his side, to help him to remember what he would forget, and she gratefully accepted a new home where she had never had one.

Calathea now spends her time maintaining the stores of gems, gold, and consumables with a careful eye. Her precision and aptitude for organization and writing things down keeps the clan’s resources going exactly where they need to go, and knowing exactly when they need to be replaced. Crispin treasures Calathea, and together they keep the clan healthy and fed.
