Aria has been best friends with BitterWind for as long as she can remember. As hatchlings, the two of them explored all of Roots' Reaches, getting into trouble and making discoveries. Their adventuring has never really stopped, only now exploring and mapmaking is their job as well as two of their favorite hobbies.

BitterWind is the artist when it comes to their cartography, but
Aria is the mathematical genius responsible for figuring out all the scaling and making their maps some of the most accurate in all of Sornieth. She also keeps a detailed travel journal. When published, their maps come with an attached pamphlet for the region in question. Inside, readers can find tips for associating with locals - both dragons and beastclan alike - as well as important information regarding all the gathering resources in the area. Bitty's maps and Aria's pamphlet have kept many a dragon well fed and safe from harm.

During their travels, Aria also likes to collect treasures and
antiques for her other friend, Chinadoll. None of the trinkets she brings home ever actually make it into China's shop, but it's apparent to those who are keen-eyed that the majority of the stuff China sells in the Imporium isn't the real deal. Aria tries to help warn clueless buyers, but she does spend a lot of time away from home and can't always be of assistance. It's best to shop at the Imporium when she's around to offer tips. However, even though it's exasperating, she also thinks it's kind of cute that China has such a hard time letting things leave. It's nice that everything he has is so precious to him.

Aria and BitterWind's curious minds sometimes get them into
trouble, but the pair always manage to charm or outwit their opponets. Together, the two of them hope to map and study all of Sorneith, and dragons may someday see an Atlas containing their collected works, and leaving no corner of the world undocumented.
