Stubborn 		Soot looked down at hatchling that was at Baldwin's Brew. He was intently watching the concoction in the cauldron boil.

"...Is this your assistant or sommink?" Soot asked the pearlcatcher.

"No. He comes here every day though. I'm not sure he has a home."

"He has one now," the mirror said, gently picking the hatchling up and putting him on his head.

"Kidnapping are we?" the old pearlcatcher said, raising an eyebrow behind his glasses.

"Surprise adoption." Soot retorted while leaving.

Zyrephon hadn't even noticed his wings had changed until he returned to the gang at the end of a long brewing session and went to get more materials from his ridgeback friend Gregson.

"Zyrephon! What's up with your wings?" the ridgeback asked with some worry.

The fae spread his wings, admiring the change fully. "A mutation perhaps. A pretty mutation. I doubt it's harmful. Perhaps it's the start of a breakthrough... I knew being child of the Arcanist would help my alchemy."

The fae had fallen under some alarm when baldwin started to change. Once finding out the cause, zyrephon worked feverishly to attempt to recreate the brew. Even if the fae was affected, he had to help figure out what ingredients were necessary to recreating the event. 		10868.png
