Paracelsus | Alchemist
Being an alchemist isn't necessarily the easiest thing on the world: If a dragon is not experienced enough, they might burn themselves or accidentally transmute stuff that was actual of great use for them before throwing it into the cauldron. But Paracelsus usually doesn't encounter problems like these - not anymore at least. He studied the art of alchemy his whole life and thus is now best friends with Baldwin, an old dragon who sometimes helps him brewing more difficult stuff. The other members of the clan are mostly a bit sceptical about Paracelsus' work, but whenever he brews something really useful like weapons, apparel or... familiars, everyone gets really excited. Still, no one ever knows what crazy idea he might come up with next, but as long as nothing explodes, it can't be too bad anyway.

After he accidentally put half of his old lair on fire, Paracelsus decided to maybe join the clan his older half-sibling Anghus was staying at at the moment. Really, in a lair already surrounded by fire it actually shouldn't have been a great deal, but he was too embarrassed to stay there any longer - at least, as long as his alchemy skills were that bad. When he finally found Ladon's clan, he spent a lot of time at the library and with Baldwin to study and improve and when he finally got the permission to build his own little alchemy cave, he was really excited and grateful. Since then he has brewed many useful things for the clan, but except for dining hours and very early in the morning he is almost never seen outside his alchemy cave, so many newbies don't really notice him until one day he runs into the throne hall and screams a loud, triumphant scream. Thus some dragons think the cave drives him mad, but in reality he works on his own personal project he didn't dare to tell anyone about yet. But everything has to go according to plan, so Paracelsus takes his time and doesn't hurry himself in fear it would end exactly like the disaster in his old home. Still, sometimes he allows himself to have some fun and randomly throws some stuff he doesn't need any longer into the cauldron - that's actually the most exciting thing for the dragon, because he never really knows what would happen. |
