Flauros is a fallen angel blessed with an incredible, limitless sort of knowledge. Once upon a time, he used this knowledge as would a philosopher: he spent his days trying to make sense of the world around him. Unfortunately, he came to a most unfortunate conclusion. Life does not reward the good, only the tenacious. Those who strive to get ahead, using whatever means necessary, clawing the weak out of their way, are those who gain influence.

Like any good scientist, Flauros wished to test his hypothesis. Over a millennia, he revealed himself to promising proteges and offered them knowledge for increasingly steep prices- some treasure, an heirloom, a blooded sacrifice, their heart, and finally their everlasting soul. In the end, he lost sight of his goal. His puppeteering led to a sick sense of sadism that consumed his every waking thought.

Flauros's existence has since been devoted to the breaking of mortal minds.
