Basaran

A member of Ralcune's team, Avalar's leading defense squad.

Basaran comes off as intimidating, but is actually quite a jovial dragon who never misses a social gathering. Serving as a soldier of Avalar means his life is constantly on the line, so he uses his free time to fill it with fun, as he may not get that chance later.

When it comes to defending his home, however, Basaran gets just as serious as the rest of his team, though his battling style may suggest otherwise. His favorite thing to do is barrel downhill and mow down enemies with his entire body mass. Due to his thick hide and sturdy build, he is more than willing to take a hit for his teammates, as he can shake it off with little trouble.

As a snapper, his roots run strong. Although he loves interacting with other species, Basaran ventures back to Dragonhome several times throughout the year, to spend time with his own kind. He knows a vast number of stories passed down from his family, but rarely gets to tell them as most dragons don't have the patience to sit through the whole thing.
