Loa

Uh-oh, looks like this pretty Pearlcatcher wandered a little too far from her lair, and now she’s off to see the world! If ever you feel the urge to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her home instead, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here.

The child of a wandering dragon, Loa had always felt adventure deep within her bones. She yearned to go off and see the world for herself and maybe even find her mother again. She begged her father to let her go and it was with a heavy heart that he agreed. He knew if he forced her to stay in Cysegr Clan forever she’d be miserable and as much as he wanted her to stay safe he couldn’t bring himself to do that to his little girl.

She had heard her mother had recently been spot in the Southern Icefields in a clan where the leader was called 'Choco'. She went on her way and was lucky enough to end up in the exact lair where her mother had been! There she heard her mother had been recovering from hypothermia in this clan. The Southern icefields is not a forgiving place for fire dragons. Unfortunately she got told her mother had just left a while ago. Being so close to finding her mother she left as soon as possible to continue her search.

All of the journeying was starting to wear Loa out so she decided to return home for a brief visit with her birth clan. Once she had rested and recovered her strength though, she set out again.

After travelling around and visited some lairs from other dragons; Loa stroke down after a flight close to a small lair. As she looked up in the sky she could see that there was a thunderstorm coming, and every dragon knew that it was too dangerous to fly in one. Only the dragons from a lightning clan could resist the sharp flashes of light.
As she was looking around for shelter she noticed a small entrance by some rocks on the deserted place where she had landed. As the lightning and the thunder started, she hurried over there and bumped heads with another dragon that was eager to get in. Dash looked at her and stepped aside, knowing that it was polite to let the ladies go first.
When inside the two dragons looked up by surprise to see the cave was already occupied but the dragons inside welcomed them on a friendly way.
While Loa only wanted to stay until the thunderstorm was over the other dragons organized a dinner and asked them to stay.
The evening was great and Loa noticed she felt pretty close to Dash and heard that he was not from around here either. The two shared their stories till midnight before they fell asleep after one warm and cozy night the two fell asleep together.
While the next morning arrived Loa didn’t feel the urge to leave and so she asked the others if she was allowed to stay a little longer. And so did Dash, as he could see something was up with his new love Loa.
After a few days they found out why Loa had felt so strange as she suddenly breed three eggs in the nest she slept in. Half panicking, but also happy she asked Dash for help and they took care of the three little eggs until they were going to hatch. Two sons and one daughter were born and they called them Ulixes, Robin and Elza. But while she took care of these hatchlings Loa started to feel bounded to a place again. Her heart wanted to be somewhere else, on the road again. Traveling. She knew that the love she had for her three children couldn’t stop the love she had for the world and with a heavy heart she told Dash about it. Dash was understanding and told her that he would take care of the three hatchlings and that she should follow her path and go to where her heart wanted her to go.
It was a tough decision she had to make but she then said farewell to her own children, the love she had for such a short time and the lair that had welcomed her with so much love. With a heavy heart she continued her journey to another place in the world.

Days passed and Loa found herself in a Plague land. It was rough out there and she ended up catching one of the many contagions floating around. Luckily, a Plague Clan found her and managed to get the name of her home out of her. With the knowledge they sent word back to Cysegr Clan and a warrior from there came to collect her. They nursed her back to health and asked her not to travel so far from home again. She was a wanderer at heart though and knew she couldn't promise to stay. The Clan's elders asked if she would at least travel with a new partner to keep her safe. She relented and decided that she would travel with the male Tundra Oreo that was passing through as well.
