For a Spiral raised by Mirrors, she is surprisingly gentle.

Distant Looks
-by SoullessRogue
When eyes search glazed, looking,
Might they ever find in which they look,
They can scan and search, hovering,
But no matter, they're all mistook.

Search today, time comes tomorrow,
Waste it all away, in an injection,
Even if you find it, in your sorrow,
You may still escape through deception.

Cassiopeia spends most of her time wandering around the territory with Tridacna. No one's quite sure exactly where either of them came from, and where exactly the ghostly chains and scars came from, but there's nothing to really be nervous about. Cassiopeia'd never hurt a fly, not like the chains would let her.

She forgets words quite a bit, and often just stays silent as a result. She's very kind, though, and dislikes the fright her appearance tends to cause.

The truth is that Cassiopeia was once locked in the Chasm, an unknown, maximum-security jail in the deepest, coldest depths of Ice territory. She's not sure why exactly she was arrested, anymore; just that they kept her and bound her and liked to practice machines on her. She was rescued, eventually, but even now nobody knows how to get rid of the chains.

She doesn't blame them. She'd just-like to be able to stretch out comfortably, is all. But she appreciates that they haven't just given up entirely.
——
Cassiopeia mostly makes the tavern food or does basic housekeeping for the inn alongside occasionally Tridacna and Suzume, because nobody else will do it and in her current state she’s not much good for adventuring. Not like anybody’d ever say so, of course; heck, most of the reason they’re not willing to try is because they’re all really worried she’d end up in a dangerous situation and get hurt again. For jobs- because she had wanted very much to help- she mostly mends and cooks, on the rare occasion something like that comes up.

Cassiopeia, at least, quite likes her current life. It’s very relaxing.
