Rescue Tracker | Extra Fuzzy Tundra | Loves Giving Warm Hugs
Born with an extra overcoat of shaggy, dark fur, Krernertok needed to move from his Plague homeland to cooler climates to be able to survive without the daily risk of overheating haunting his every step. His easy going nature as warm as his fuzzy exterior, he quickly made himself at home in Snow Globe Village, eager to find a place for himself among the bustling, welcoming members of Kakortok's clan. It wasn't until a pair of especially rambunctious hatchlings left the safety of the dome during a particularly horrible blizzard that he found his calling. Every minute spent making the dragons of Snow Globe more certain that the hatchlings wouldn't be found and the parents more and more fretful, Krernertok took a special thread one of the clanners native of Arcane had made which was said to have magical properties of infinity and rushed out of the dome with it, tying it to the pole of the sign welcoming to the village before heading on his way. While finding the lost hatchlings proved to be a challenge and the weather too cold even for him, Krenertok pushed on for a full day until he found them shivering by the cover of some of the stronger pines in the area. Noticing that they were in far too frail a state to make the journey back in the current weather, he stayed with them until the end of the storm, shielding them with his extra bulk of fur and keeping them warm. Arriving back at the village a few days later with the hatchlings on his back and his fur wet and covered in frost, he was instantly received as a hero. Impressed with his tenacity and his good heart, Kakortok asked the creator of the thread that allowed him to find his way back despite his drain in stamina to give it to him as a prize for his deeds, a request that was kindly accepted by the thread maker. His spoils later on including a wolf pelt that was lined with otter fur to help him combat the cold and keep him dry in said conditions, Krernertok became the official emergency rescue tracker of the village, a job he oversees with pride and carries on dutifully. |
