Vaizel

Dreamer
The Honored

Wise ✦ Observant ✦ Accepting ✦ Patient ✦ Loves Naps

“It is a happiness to wonder; -- it is a happiness to dream.”
― Edgar Allen Poe

✦ ✦ ✦

Vaizel and Zurrei were not part of the founding of Seiyssrial Spire, yet without them none of it would have been possible. Two of their sons, Yssresa and Aleoraac, were among the founding four. Some time after the Spire was officially settled, Vaizel and his mate were invited to come live with 'the boys'. Of course, they obliged.

Vaizel is very different from his ambitious sons. Where they are responsible and practical, his head is always in the clouds. He's a dreamer. Not a storyteller or keeper of lore like Yssresa, just a dreamer. He lives a carefree life filled with peace and happiness. His sense of worth comes from seeing the greatness his progeny have achieved.

While some among Seiyssrial feel Vaizel should 'step up' and contribute more, none would dare to utter such words to him or his sons. He's as much a part of the Spire as anyone and a great void would be left without him. He's a father to the fatherless, a doting grandfather to the young and lonely, and a friend to anyone in need. Everyone young dragon knows that running up into Vaizel's outstretched wings and pillowy belly will lead to them being embraced in a great dragon hug. They'll be sprinkled in flower petals - flowers that are surely magic, for they seem to lift one's spirits and bring luck and joy to the rest of their day.

Fun Facts!
One of my first two Crystal/Facet/Glimmer dragons who cost quite a fortune at the time. I never imagined he'd be around this long or become so near and dear to my heart.
