"Goodbye!" ╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯ Rune is a knight-in-training, meaning he spends most of his time doing menial tasks for his superiors. He doesn't mind much; he's the sort to take whatever work he can and do it well. Rune's a chipper fellow, loving the outdoors and meeting new people. Rune often gets distracted in missions by his constant want to learn new things and help others. He's a good dragon and, soon, an even better knight. Rune was born into the clan, one of the few, and has deeply rooted loyalties to everyone in it. He wants to be the dragon his friends see him as - a carefree, warmhearted, and thoughtful dragon. Most of those came easy to him, the want to be nice to everyone and finding it easy to empathize with those in pain, but the carefree bit wasn't so easy. Even as a hatchling, Rune struggled with a nervousness and anxiety over trite things. He felt pressured to be a perfect knight and a perfect friend and a perfect everything for those around him who rooted him on. He appreciated there cheering, he really did, but it was only added weight on his shoulders. As Rune grew, he found himself becoming more involved in the affairs of others. Even when he's sent on tasks by his superior, Rairye, he often gets sidetracked by those who ask for his help. He's unable to say no simply because he feels it'd be wrong to, and goes above and beyond to do even the smallest of requests by others no matter how far back it puts him. Rune's main focus, now, is to focus more on his training. He wants to help people, but he needs to learn that he can put himself first sometimes. |
