Biography

Umbra Wolf Gladekeeper Topiary Cutting
Name
Title
Lost Gladekeeper Sackdoll Black Wolf

Glade is a cheerful and energetic young spiral who loves gold. She tries to augment her golden gembond with whatever gold or gold colored items she can find. Since her gembond has rendered her incapable of flight she is not bothered by the weight of the things she carries, and does not care if they interfere with her wings. Because of this Glade is much stronger than most spirals. She gets the thrill of flying from climbing trees, especially in high winds. The towering redwoods of Arkar’s territory allow her to spend time several hundred feet above the ground, higher than most dragons fly on a daily basis.

When Glade was young a dragon named Solair, who was only slightly older than her wandered into the liar. Solair was a striking red and blue guardian, with yellow gembond much like hers. It was love at first sight, at east from Glade’s perspective. Solair had come from the lighting flight, and considered his gembond to be a disability. He too was unable to fly and told Glade that he did not want to bring any hatchlings into the world who would be crippled like he was. Arkar suggested that he give himself to the Gladekeeper. Assured that he would be able to fly once he gave up his physical body, Solair happily allowed himself to be exalted. He was one of the dragons who helped the Gladekeeper take victory over the Lightweaver, an event which lead to a significant expansion of nature’s territory.

Since the loss of Solair, Glade has been determined that no other dragon that she knows will exalt themselves because they are unhappy with their body. She has formed a support group around the lair for gembond dragons who are unhappy, and she does her best to make every dragon she meets feel loved and wanted.

Except for Sid, he’s too horrifying for her to even try to help.
