Mumble mumble something about the rogue Wayne meeting Sea during his travels to the Windswept Plateau and having a passionate relationship that lasted a few moon's cycles mumble he leaves for some reason or another and she pines over him, her clan breaks apart mumble mumble she and a few others travel across Sornieth, meet Kairin clan in the Viridian Labyrinth, one day Wayne returns and brings with him a crew of dragons, including a startling amount of royalty and his very own princess Diana, insert polyamory here because Kairin clan is just that way and Diana probably gets accustomed to it fairly quickly and Wayne was always that way to begin with, fast forward to Kairin having a child, Hector grows up and eventually falls for Sea and Venna, insert gay, incredible

OK i accidentally lored the polyam:
Wayne, a rogue who's always on the move, met a lovely lady named Sea once upon a time while traveling through the Windswept Plateau and couldn't bring himself to leave her for a few months. Eventually, being the mysterious character he is, Wayne had to disappear into the night, leaving Sea heartbroken and with many questions.
Years later, Sea's clan falls apart due to political disagreement splitting it into factions, and she ends up traveling with a small group of friends to find a new place to settle. They're welcomed into my nomadic clan with open arms. Just as Sea begins to fall into a new rhythm of life and gain some semblance of stability, Wayne just has to be a jerk and tilt her universe again by returning. He stumbles into the area the clan is occupying currently, deep in the Shrieking Wilds, and pleads for refuge for himself and, oh, a few princesses and their royal entourage. Wayne and one of the princesses, Diana, had fallen in love and wanted to run away together, but got caught in a mess of political turmoil that I haven't actually written yet and forced them, along with Diana's sister, mother, and their most loyal maids and guards, to flee the Everbloom Gardens. Kairin's clan is large, with dragons of every sort, and all currently packing to head to the Sunbeam Ruins- perfect for Wayne's group of runaway royalty.
Sea, having gotten over her heartbreak years ago, is thrown again into conflicted feelings when she sees Wayne with Diana after so much time. She stays away, not sure if Wayne even remembers her, but he approaches her and they tentatively begin to rebuild... something. The trio actually learns from the existing polygroups in Kairin's clan and eventually Wayne and Sea find their spark again, although she finds that Wayne has changed a lot, no longer constantly on the move and now willing to stay with Sea and Diana and travel within their new clan. This plan is solidified when Sea finds herself falling for Kairin's son, Hector. The young son of the clan leader and one of Diana's maids, Venna, are also interested in each other. They're all new to polyamory, with the exception of Hector, but they're taking baby steps toward a happy ending.
