Ravenea the Necromancer

Ravenea was inspired by his sister's magical talent, but when he found that he couldn't compare in her control of ordinary Nature magic, he took to another, darker magic. Necromancy. It also gave him a venue through which to assist his father in maintaining the health of the forests within the clan's territory. He did dabble in applying his necromancy to animals, but was cut short by Vesmir. So, instead, he applied his Nature powers to controlling skeletons with plants, which achieves the same effect without breaking taboo.

He patrols the mangrove forest on the edge of the clan territory with his sister, Mangrove. They are more or less land pirates and are far less friendly than the majority of the clan's patrolmen. He is the face of the two, since Mangrove is never seen by outsiders. As far as any invaders are concerned, Ravenea rules the forest alone. He enjoys the facade and plays it up considerably when they have enemies cornered.
