Biography

Siraj is a male Wildclaw, who came over from the Scarred Wastelands. Despite coming from such a harsh place, Siraj was rather cheerful, unlike Mereda who was practically sinister from the beginning. He was very friendly towards others as a hatchling, waddling around and greeting everyone in the morning. He’s very much a morning dragon. As he grew up and became more agile, Siraj took to making things, and selling his wares across the Windswept Plateau, and beyond. His wares? Candles. He’s a candle maker. Mereda continues to call him a disgrace to the Plague flight, but he happily ignores her. While he is a bit fascinated with death, it doesn’t go beyond that. He doesn’t like killing or hurting others, and prefers to make his candles, rather than hunt. He speaks very politely, always adding ‘Lord’ or ‘Lady’, before a dragon’s name. Being a ‘humble candle maker’, he believes that this shows his customers respect. It annoys some of the dragons in the Windcurrent Clan, but because his candles smell so wonderful, they let it pass. He makes all sort of candles for other dragons—anything from normal non-scented wax candles, to aromatherapy candles to help calm and de-stress dragons. He makes most of his candles out of wax, though he is trying his hands at making soy candles. He uses normal wicks, and wooden ones for those that want to hear a tiny crackling flame. He even does commission on candles, and makes them to the customer’s request. No request is too complicated for Siraj the candlemaker. He’ll even size candles differently, according to the dragon’s size. Bigger dragons have bigger dens, thus need bigger candles to help fill the room with aroma. He’s very happy-go-lucky, and it was a surprise to everyone that Mockingbird fell for him. Mockingbird, a serious, strict Wildclaw. She doesn’t mind Siraj’s not wanting to fight or hunt, and adores his candles. Siraj is a bit intimidated by Mockingbird, but likes her quiet, watchful nature. He knows he’s safe with her around. She often comes by and sits in his den, while he makes candles. Her mere presence calms him, and she’ll even sometimes hum a song for him, as he works. His Gembond doesn’t bother him at all, and when he sheds some of the stones off of his scales, he’ll even add them to the candles for decoration. If the customer wants them, that is. Gijinka: Siraj is a pale, younger man with an undercut hairstyle—the sides are white, while the top is a purplish black, and pulled back into a ponytail. He’s always smiling, and despite the gem growths on his skin, and his blood-red eyes, this overly polite dragon is very positive and bright. Bio by JediCreed
