Miryn likes to show off his glowing gem spots, claiming they were gifts. He acts flashy when he knows people are paying attention, but despite all of this he is actually fairly polite, especially with other dregs in the clan without any other dregs of the same kind. He also considers himself a protector of the group, putting them before himself and willing to risk his life for them if necessary. This traces back to his time in the early days of the clan, when he was one of the only Coatls in the clan, and so he took the other solitary dergs under his wings. He is rather vain, and gets upset when he gets dirtied in battle. To make him feel better, the other guards often help him clean himself after fights. He knows he's being silly, but he still appreciates all they do for him.
