Dunia was born in a Wind lair, and has loved listening to its whispers ever since she was a hatchling. To a careful listener, the winds bring gossip about warriors, clan leaders, and even the gods themselves, and Dunia has always been a careful listener. She is friendly with everyone she meets, and loves to engage other dragons in conversation, but she is very secretive about her own life. Very few dragons notice just how little she talks about herself, though, and even fewer notice how much of themselves they reveal to her; a small, disbelieving chuckle or a gentle question is often all it takes to prompt most of her acquaintances to go into greater detail. Through these hints, tales, boasts, and secrets, Dunia has created a vast network of information. To her guests and clan mates she is a friendly ear, always available to listen, always at hand when most needed and least expected. Some wonder how she always manages to show up at just the right moment; some wonder where she was before that. She always gently smiles their concerns away, and listens to the secrets the winds tell her; her secrets are hers alone, and not even the wind knows what she's up to.

Dunia would very much like to serve as an advisor and aid to the clan's progenitors, a role she thinks would suit her much better than it does Fayne. The small Fae has outmaneuvered her attempts so far, but Fayne is an Ice dragon by birth, while Dunia is a Wind dragon to her core, and clan Helarnia is a Wind clan. The shifting winds always reward the patient, and Dunia is nothing if not patient.

Dunia’s Shellion doesn't seem outwardly different from any other Shellion; as far as her clan members can tell, he doesn't do much except sit and watch the mist. He’s around so often though that he’s become a part of the landscape for many dragons in the clan, and they don’t think much about things they may say and do in front of him any more. Argus just might be more perceptive than anyone expects, though, and he is almost certainly keeping an eye on more than the mist.

Pampero

Dunia is a member of Pampero, consisting of herself, Shangdi, and Kiril. The Pampero rarely fight, but when they do they’re a surprisingly formidable team. Shangdi and Kiril are both quite fierce in battle, and Dunia has a knack for knowing exactly when and how to strike in order to inflict the most damage. Unfortunately, Shangdi and Kiril tend to boast and exaggerate their victories, making them insufferable for days afterwards, and Dunia always disappears after each patrol, showing up much later than her party members and quietly laughing off any questions as to where she has been. Consequently, the Pampero have been assigned to patrol the Shoredeep Presage, where they spend most of their time meandering around the silent tunnels and keeping out of the other teams' way.

Family & Friends

Dunia is mated to Ieni. They have no children who have chosen to stay in the lair.

Dunia does not consider any other dragon her friend. She trusts Ieni, to a certain extent, but even that is more of a partnership than anything else.
