Backstory
Felspar and Kachina found Peron's egg deep within the Foxfire Bramble while on a hunting expedition. They waited hours for the egg's parents to show up, to no avail. They finally brought the egg back to the clan, to be cared for by Hyra and Kaz. From the day he hatched, Peron was a hyper hatchling, careening about the lair at top speed and crashing into various clanmates before his surrogate parents could shoo him out the door. When he learned to fly, this need for speed only grew. He spent all his time in the air over Clan Phantom territory, shooting through the treetops with more agility than anyone thought possible for a mirror dragon. Despite his smaller wingspan, Peron became a highly skilled flyer. Hyra, sensing a blooming passion in the way that mothers often do, signed him up for a local air racing league, and Peron quickly rose through the ranks to become one of their top flyers. He competes in races locally in the Driftwood Drag, and occasionally flies in larger tournaments in other elemental regions. Hyra and Kaz are quite proud of him, and they have yet to miss any of his races.
Daen recently discovered that Peron's bite is slightly toxic, and a twisted pattern has appeared on his wings. Nobody is quite sure what this means.
Personality
Peron is fiercely competitive, and loves racing with all his heart. He can be a little overconfident at times, but this doesn't stop him from making all kinds of friends. His races have taken him all across Sornieth, and as result he has several friends in other regions, who he keeps in touch with via letters. He is a tough, hardworking dragon, and will often practice for hours on end, with energy left over for chores. Peron enjoys his life, and loves his adoptive parents, but he harbors a secret longing to know his real parents. He privately hopes that perhaps they will spot him at one of his races and recognize him as their own. His hopes thus far have been in vain.
