Overdell is one of those dragons who you just can't judge by appearance. Despite her cadaverous pallor, Overdell is a cheerful guardian whose health is probably the best amongst all the clan members thanks to her regular exercise and healthy eating.

The Nochnyr that Starlight gave her, named Igor, follows her wherever she goes. This includes her active duty of Exalter, a job which she has taken over from Gargamel. Leading the dragons and hatchlings to the Shadowbinder is more fun that it seems, apparently. She knows the route by heart, and it never takes her very long to return. That's more space for the clan, and more treasure for them too. Everyone wins!... Except some of the dragons that get sent to the Shadowbinder herself. Why? Because Overdell is also in charge of naming them. And anyone will tell you that Overdell has a strange sense of humour.

On the subject of her humour, Overdell loves writing stories in her free time. Her current favourite is a collection of tales involving a duck and his adventures around Sornieth. Nope, the other dragons aren't sure where she got the idea either. Either way, it keeps her happy. A lot of unfortunate hatchlings often end up with names 'inspired' by her series.

Overdell has a particularly good friendship with Gilda and Harchi. The trio can sometimes be found discussing future storylines for her book.
