Kiara has a neverending flow of sarcasm reaching out of her throat. She's never cruel for no reason, she just doesn't tolerate idiocy very well. She started out as a clothes designer, but her joy started to flee after a while. When Phantasma joined, she noticed her interest in textiles. The pair often team up when they can to discuss new designs, but these days, Kiara's real passion lies in her new job as the clan's blacksmith.

Her father, Nico, was a traveller, and always on the move. Her brother, Hyperion, set out with him shortly after her birth. Although she was destined to go along with her mother, Thriller, in search of a Light Flight home, it soon became apparent that Kiara had grown far too fond of her clan mates, and would not be travelling with her. After a heartfelt goodbye, she was left on her own. Hyperion (not to be confused with her brother) took her under his wing until she was old enough to fend for herself.

Starlight had somewhat of a difficult time choosing a familiar for her. After a while, she decided on a Smoky Bantam Fangar, which Kiara immediately named Nuffles. The two soon bonded, and luckily the cloud of dust that is visible on her scales everyday doesn't bother her in the slightest.

Growing up, she was extremely close to Demyx, since both of them were around the same age. As adult, that bond has certainly stood the test of time. The two are often found eating together, playing together and sometimes even working together in their daily activities. The two have confirmed that they are mates.
