Biography

Eve, The Sacrificer
It was I who lead masses of children too young to even gather on their own to the Deity, and I who lead even more young adults, so full of life, to the afterlife's edge.

Eve was never meant to be a sacrificer. It wasn't the kind of life that anyone had envisioned for the bright young imperial. Even getting her up to par with the rest of the clan's offspring had been a difficult task; Eve had never wanted to hurt any of the shade-touched beasts, feeling it unfair that they had to die over something they couldn't control.

This mentality changed, however, when she was whisked away into the night along with her friend and raised by clan Enyo. Akiha began the slow transformation of the young dragon into something monsterous; forcing her to fight against other hatchlings and then slowly to bigger monsters. Eve quickly learned that in order to survive she had to fight, but even then she didn't want to kill. Being forced to do so slowly corroded her mind and she fell deeper into insanity. The final straw came on the night she was to fight full fledged dragons. Her parents. The young girl was forced after much struggle to end her own families lives, and in doing so killing the last remaining flicker of hope within her.

From then on, when they pitted her against hoards of shade-touched beasts with her brother, she began to laugh and slice down the weaker opponents. Together, their strength grew, and before anyone understood how or why, Eve had rose to become the strongest amongst Clan Enyo. As her strength grew, something else boiled around inside her and came to its peek.

Eve began stealing hatchlings and young travelers from their homes and making them strong too. Often, they would be pitted against one another in the fields, or forced to kill just as she had when she was a small hatchling. And then, just as cruelly as she would snatch them up, she would take them to the Shadow Binders alter and offer up the young fighters as sacrifices to her deity, who hungrily accepted them.

The clan, though frightened by Eve's viciousness, did not stop her. After all, with such a plentiful sacrifice, their Deity rained down many riches and gifts to Her loyal servants.

Some years after her rise to power, Eve came face to face with her sibling from her old clan. Unlike the others, she was extremely affectionate to this child, who also seemed to have a knack for hunting. Together, her, her darling twin and their friend Ares rampantly destroyed any opponent or creature that stepped into their territory. All quivered in their wake and not a single dragon would dare utter the name of Clan Enyo except to naughty hatchlings who tried to venture too far from their nests. Selena, unlike Ares, rose up in power that was just slightly less than her sisters, making the two of them an unstoppable team.

Thats when the unthinkable happened.

Eve, full of hidden jealousy for her sister and full of pride from being on the top of the clan, allowed her fear to consume her. She took her rival and sacrificed her to the Shadow Binder, tossing her down into the shady pits with her wings bound to her body, ensuring that she would be unable to rise from her fate. She never spoke of her sister after that, and even allowed the clan to search for Selena for years. Only Ares truly knows the fate of their beloved sister.
