Sialia (Sia for short) came to the Belfry largely by chance. She spent a few months traveling on her own-- getting a feel for her powerful wings and for the sense of freedom they brought her. There was a significant learning curve but she was confident and for the most part things were surprisingly fine. One day, however, as she flew close to the border of the Wind region a loosened hurricane brewed. Sia was used to storms, she's a born Lightning dragon, but flying in them was another matter-- especially when she found her sense of direction (and sight) so disoriented by the tempest that she was actually flying over the sea. This continued for hours and then things went blurry for her.

Sia awoke in the Starwood Strand with a group of Raptoriks peering down at her. Alarmed (she was well-aware with the frequent beast-drake tensions across Sornieth) she tried to rise up and flair her crest in a display of aggression. Instead, she found herself too sore to move. And quickly plunged what little bit of her body she was able to move right back into the Earth. Many of the raptoriks chirred, a laughter similar to that of her siblings back when they were nestmates. A few others seemed to look about warily. She had not realized Raptoriks sounded so similar to her breed of dragon. In any other circumstance, had she not been severely injured and surrounded, this would have been comforting.

Still, no attack came. Some had weapons and armor but those kept their distance, as if merely guards. Sia watched them with curiosity. She guessed it was pretty reasonable for them to be somewhat defensive. After all, she was still larger than them ultimately. Maybe they meant no harm. They surely could've attacked her by now if they wanted to. Two soon flew off after a quick chatter.
They would return a few hours later with the skydancer Cyn and the rest is history. Their sounds and movements, so Wildclaw-like in mein made an impression on Sia. She would later find her role at the Belfry as a worker with the local Talonok clan(s), helping them, and raising awareness that they really are not as bad as many dragons believe.
