MAMORI
The Egg Seeker
thoughtful | sensitive | protective

She grew up as part of a very close-knit family with nurturing parents and siblings that grew to be friends instead of competition. She loved her family and usually stayed close by her parents or siblings for the majority of her youth. It was on an outing with her mother that she learned that not all hatchlings were so lucky. They were in the forest scavenging when they came across a tiny egg. Curious as to why an egg was outside of the Nesting Grounds, her mother had to explain that dragons outside of their clan sometimes lost eggs, had them stolen, or simply abandoned them. Horrified at the thought of a hatchling not having a family, or not hatching at all without the care of a nest-keeper, she demanded that her mother bring the egg home so they could help raise it. Amused, her mother did so and the two incubated the egg until it hatched. A tiny Tundra dragon hatched from the egg and was welcomed into the family. The Tundra didn't stay long, but the sense of accomplishment and togetherness that she felt after giving the Tundra a fighting chance made her feel giddy with joy. She decided then that it was her job to seek out these lost eggs and to give them a fighting chance too.
