Quentin is one of the oldest members of the clan. When he joined he wasn't particularly into hatchlings, but once he had a few he decided he loved them and wanted to protect them with all his might. Quentin is the nesting ground guard and tender. He patrols the bundles of eggs when necessary and is often a relief to parent dragons who need a break to stretch their wings. Hatchlings are also highly fond of him, and often accompany him on his duties. From a young age, Quentin was a bit of a fighter. He enjoyed bloodshed and things of the like. He spent many years wandering about all the different territories, looking for a fight. He always got one, and eventually became tired of his constant fighting. He longed for a place to stay, and so, made his way into the Shadow land. When he joined the clan, he wanted to make himself known as a warrior, alongside the ferocious Mary, but times in the clan quickly changed and he was shooed away to make room for Viking--whom he despises. Though he has a strong feeling Viking will also be rejected from Mary. He and Delta have always had a bit of a friendly rivalry, but Delta has always assumed control for the most part. Now days in the clan he spends most of his time playing with hatchlings and the younger dragons. He's seen as the "unwise grandfather" as he gets into all sorts of mischief with young dragons, much to everyone's dislike. Still, everyone feels he's an important part of the clan alongside his mate Masuku. One of the clan's favorite stories to share is when Quentin and Ningyo made a costume and pretended to be a growing emperor. While it terrified the clan, in the end, everyone had a good laugh. Quentin's mate, Masuku, is also one of the hatchling care takers. Quentin, Masuku, and the dragon Arashi all take care of the younger members, though Arashi also takes care of the older members. Masuku and Quentin have had several children, though they all seem fit on going to serve the deities, which is fine with both parents. |
