With every new order as vague as the next one, it was always a challenge creating something that would live up to the 'criteria'. He could never know if the Stormcatcher would end up pleased with his work, or have him remake it all over again in the last minute. But that must be the cost for working directly under a god. Entering his dim workshop, he said to himself: "Alright. Let's see what explodes this time."
Knarr is known for the sound he makes when he's upset or concentrated. Not for the boat, which, actually might make a similar noise at sea. He sounds like those floor planks on that one spot in an old cabin. When tinkering on his new inventions or reparations, the outdrawn creak can be heard outside his workshop. Some dragons that sleep close to it have gotten so used to the noise, they almost find it hard to sleep without it. Knarr is a special employee under the Stormcathcer himself, and has been allowed to work in the shelter of his own lair - but under the condition that if details of his works is heard by the wrong ears, he must be dealt with. Therefore, not many members of the clan know what exactly he does, and are under no circumstances allowed into the workshop. 99,5% of the time it's being respected - other times, attempts to hack into the complicated security system happens. However, they are never successful. His personality is like your typical physics, chemistry or biology teacher; flamingly passionate about his topic, and when allowed enough time to talk, drifts far off of it. His apprentice and niece Bonici has learned exactly when to interrupt to prevent this from happening. The physics and attributes of pulsing relics always interested Knarr. He studies them in between keeping one around just for staring blankly at. He calls it 'meditating', while in fact he got lost in thought. His power pack is his baby, and it helps him in battle. The voltage of the power pack is stronger than what he can naturally create, therefore seemingly overcharging his normal spells. Favorite food is striker snakes. Easy to carry around and doesn't produce as much waste as birds. Also those gems could prove themselves useful. |
