Mystic had come to the clan quietly, she had sneaked in, and wriggled her way to find a comfortable cave to rest in. A dark one that was secluded from others in the lair, was her choice. Since it was far from others, she left some of the sentimental things she had collected on her many travels to different lairs lying around so that it felt truly like another home. She was a secretive and lonely dragon, who always kept to herself. She was good at hiding from most in the clan, but did join the clan for meals when they ate. Eating was a necessity that was annoying, because of the interaction that was usually required of her. However, her quiet nature kept most dragons from talking with her and they seem to know she didn’t want to talk or simply ignore her presence and talk with clan members as they ate. No one, not even the leaders, noticed the strange dragon amongst them as they ate their meals. Her peace here was not to last though. Soon enough, people began to notice she was not a true member of the clan. It had taken months for the clan leaders to notice a strange dragon sitting amongst the clan members. She had made herself at home already, so the leaders had allowed her to stay since hadn’t caused any trouble in the time she had been among them. She was thankful for being able to stay because now this was truly a home she could call her own. A home she had been searching for her entire life. Now that she had been found out, she stayed out of sight and mostly dwelled in the darkest parts of the lair, where her cave was, that no one dare tread. She enjoyed her own company than the company of others. When she was amongst the clan for meals, people rarely spoke to her, because she simply blended in amongst all the misfits that this clan took in. For that was what she was, another misfit. Most of the time she dwells in her dark nesting cave and relishing in the company of her own thoughts. |
