Born into the clan through a one-time mating between a tundra and an imperial, Andromeda's original purpose in the clan was to go attend the gods and aid the Windsinger in the eternal battle against the shade. However the wayward god seemed to have other plans for this young Tundra and instead she found herself safe at home with her mother while her father left on a wanderlust quest.
Her original name is lost to the winds, Andromeda chose her name for her inky colour and her love of the stars above. So great was this love that she chose to cover herself in small dots of dye to resemble the stars above. Though most of her family chooses to be active during the day, Andromeda prefers the dark silence of night. She has a love of the stars, claiming that she can hear them twinkle if asked why she prefers them to the day. Whether she can or not is left up to speculation, but she also enjoys hunting for the plants that can only be located in the darkest points of the night. Though her role is largely undetermined, Andromeda spends a lot of time gathering plants during the night with her mate Caelestis. They also keep an eye on any wayward hatchling who's sleep schedule might not be quite settled into the less nocturnal rhythm. This sometimes means taking the sleepy hatchling along for a gather, but they seem to enjoy it all the same. Originally Andromeda thought to spend her life much like her mother drifting from one lover to another, however the hatchling who would choose the name Caelestis was found during a routine patrol by the defenders of the clan. Drawing him into the life, they became fast friends and that friendship blossomed into a tentative love. After their first mating cycle together, the pair decided they fit each other perfectly and the rest, as they say, is history.
