Aerisial is what some dragons call "inscrutable" and others call "really weirdly creepy, like seriously why does she keep hanging around in that corner, what's she watching?". Very few in the clan actually know much about her except that she supplies them with magic, but everyone knows her usual haunts. Sometimes she sits on her tail in the shadow of an outside wall or a tall tree, cloak over her face and silks providing alarmingly bright counterpoints to the rest of her, all muted colours. She's the clan witch, but also the clan curiosity; hatchlings tumble by her in an attempt to see where her eyes are pointed, and approaching her is a common dare among the adolescent dragons who have nothing to do with their time.

Her familiar hangs around her sometimes, but even the fluffy floracat don't offset the blank, staring eyes.

Sometimes, weird things happen at night. Or, rather, the clan's dragons presume they happen at night, because they find the results in the mornings. It's a misplaced Spotted Skunk with its tail missing hanging upside-down from a tree branch, or exactly seven piles of sand arranged in a circle in front of somebody's sleeping quarters. Occasionally it's something helpful - the last rune for someone's collection, only they just complained to one dragon yesterday, and no one else should know about it at all. Rarely it's malicious, but those times it's tends to be just additionally aggressive weather or a heavy feeling in the air.

Most of them are reluctant to pin it on the clan witch, surprisingly. A handful of them have talked to her face-to-face at least once, and what they remember are shy eyes and a tiny smile, and once a glint of mischief. She doesn't seem like the type to do things that might draw attention to her, and so on the suspect list she's a firm "maybe".

The one thing nobody knows is she has a bit of a temper; it's where the weather comes from, or the mutilated food items or the snapped branches. She doesn't plan any of her odd antics - they're spontaneous, whatever feels right for the mood she's in. If she's happy, a lavender-scented breeze carries poppies to land on her clanmates' heads. If she's feeling melancholy, light drizzles hit and leaves hang heavy. Not very many things anger her, but when they do, that's when the storms start.
