Aesettir is the 'golden child' to his very religious parents, being the only boy out of his hatching. His father, Yulari, was raised in the Scarred Wasteland and considers boys more important than girls. Therefore, Aesettir is slightly conceited and proud.


Though on the outside he is the perfect Nocturne, on the inside this blue male is a rebel and secretly has a crush on the beautiful Guardian female Aigean. Aesettir thinks very little of his sister Foraya, but got along well with Laethor until she chose to be Exalted.



Note: if anyone reads Phillip Pullman's 'His Dark Materials' trilogy, they will probably recognize the name 'Aesettir'. Aesettir is also known as the Subtle Knife.
