She shrunk back in shock, blood dripping down her snout. The drake before her still holding his dripping claws close to his body, his face contorted in a foul snarl, full teeth bared in her direction.

The drake broke the silence, growling; "Get out of my sight Necromancer, your kind, not to mention the monster you worship, is nothing but a scourge upon this land. I will not tolerate your festering presence in this lair, my lair, leave now before I coat your spine in real blood."

She hissed under her breath, bringing her wing forward to wipe the drizzling blood out of her eyes. I see, so this is how you truly felt about me, Valarian. So be it, I shall respond in kind.

"You do not know the powers you challenge, leader, or you would not speak so hazardously before me. Nor would you speak such foul words of Mother," Plague snarled, turning away from the Guardian, her tail dragging on the tainted earth below her.

"I know just what powers I challenge, foul one," Valarian lunged forwards at her back, pinning the Pearlcatcher to the ground, placing a firm talon upon her spine. His sharp talons dug into her spine, drawing blood.

"...if you had you would not have done that," she spoke with disdain, letting out an utterly disappointed sigh, "I had assumed you would have been more intelligent than this."

H I S T O R Y

"What-?" The Guardian bent down, hacking and coughing as blood festered into his lungs.

"You know of my kind, yet you do not seem aware of our true power, that or you vastly underestimated us... vastly underestimated Mother," with ease she stood up, shrugging off Valarian as he collapsed to the ground, weakly reaching towards her.

She turned, placing a firm clawed hand upon his head, channeling the plague into her quarry. The Guardian let out a choked screech as the plague overtook him, tainting his body until he lay silently upon the ground. Blood pooling around him.

Plague let out a disgusted grunt before turning tail and pacing away from the fallen Guardian.
