Originally from Light Flight, he is a terrific scholar, and assists Abrasaxia often in her research.

Nisroc's deafness does not prevent him from being the most efficient librarian most of the clan have ever seen. He insists on quiet in the archives so that those who wish to study may do so in peace. He cannot hear troublemakers, but his Celestial Antelope familiar Calliphonos certainly can, and alerts him at the first sign of trouble.

Moraela and Jezebeth both assist him in the library, and Sela joins him there sometimes as well.

He dotes on his daughter, Cassiel, the singer. Though he cannot hear her voice, he is quite proud of her gifts.

Familiar: Calliphonos

Calliphonos came with Nisroc from Light Flight territory, and assists him in all the tasks made more difficult by being unable to hear. Though Calliphonos does not possess hands or paws with which to sign, they share a psychic bond courtesy of the witch Nebula's magics. This enables her to communicate nonverbally and, to some extent, provide an impression of sound.

She is lame in one hind leg and cannot run well. The two rely on one another and share a deep, affectionate bond. He combs her mane and tail, she chews his crest feathers, they snuggle together. It's adorable.
