Personality

StormDancer is calm and collected most of the times. He is more of the silent and observing type who takes his job - both training recruits and storm shaping - and it consumes most of his time and he is quite content with it. He enjoys fighting and training, but most pleasure he takes from flighting in the storms.
StormDancer is also a family man, which consumes the second half of his free time when he is not working. He loves his mate and children and wants to take care of them all, no matter which clan the children have transferred to. He likes cuddles.

Storm Dancer doesn't have a name, and he doesn't want one - he identifies with the name of his subspecies and is proud to introduce himself as a stormdancer. Most other dragons refer to him as Dancer thought.

Role description

StormDancer is one of the traines of Clan Evervale. His job is to train recruits for Gladekeeper - and sometimes other deities - alone in the Mire.

History

StormDancer was born in the Shifting Expanse. His family had high expectations of him since he was deemed a possible candidate to become a Stormdancer from a very young age. Thus Dancer started training for that duty and made the training his life - there was literally nothing else beside training and resting.

He will always remember his initiation storm. It was chaos all around and he got struck with a powerful lightning bolt which cave him a crackling pattern on his hide. But he made it out alive and mostly well. He was a stormdancer and proud of it - so proud, actually, that he started just going by the name of his subspecies and profession instead of the name he was given previously.

For quite some time StormDancer just shaped the storms in Shifting Expanse, but then his curiosity about the lands around his home grew strong. He travelled far and wide and finally ended up in the Viridian Labyrinth. There he was perceived a threat and attacked by a large guardian male who turned out to be the leader of a small defence force for a clan residing in the area.

StormDancer was taken aback by the said Guardian's strength. He introduces himself as Vhenadel and offered to take him to his clan's leader if he wished to join. StormDancer, curious as he was, met with Faladhin and offered to train their recruits in exchange for food and shelter. He never really entered the service of the Gladekeeper and he always remained loyal to the Stormcatcher - but no harm would come from expanding one's view, right?

Faladhin also took to offering his training services to an allied clan in the Shifting Expanse. Overjoyed with the possibility of returning home every now and then to train for Stormcatcher, StormDancer took the offer with enthusiasm. It was Clan Levinflare where he was sent to - and there he met Vilunkehto. The young and timid guardian female caught his eye immediately. She was daughter of the clan's matron, Varjoemo, who immediately saw potential within the combination of genes from her family and that of StormDancer's. She offered him a deal - to give Vilunkehto a few eggs that could possibly continue the stormdancer line in exhange for all the food and shelter and training - which he so fancied - she could offer.

StormDancer accepted the offer, but not everything went quite as planned. Vilunkehto birthed a few eggs by him as per their (or Varjoemo's) agreement, but the two dragons developed feelings for each other in the process. They became a real couple, mates for life, and they were happy. To their luck, Varjoemo was also pleased that her timid daughter had found herself a good mate.
