Mr. Darcy was born into a wealthy dragon clan in the Light territory. He was taught to have the best of manners towards other dragons by his treasure hoarding parents and the other gold and gem loving dragons of his clan. However, he wasn't the most social of dragons and disliked showing any emotion at all even if the situation called for one out of politeness. Still, Mr. Darcy went on in life with a lot of gold he hoarded, most coming from his family upon starting out on his own. He enjoyed being the intelligent and rich dragon that he'd grown into so much so that his pride became a little too much for other dragons to handle.

His life consisted of the same routine for a dragon of his status, work a little for a lot of reward, take care to feed his intellect, and of course attend parties for high class dragons like himself in hopes of gaining more attention and wealth, though he wasn't one for socializing with others except his closest friends. It was at one of these parties he met the love of his life Elizabeth, though at first he enjoyed himself by making rude witty remarks about the lower class wildclaw. Mr. Darcy gradually grew an attraction to this dragoness however and even made a proposition to become her mate, which was ruined by his known superiority complex and the mentioning of the large social status gap.

By the time the two had met again Mr. Darcy had realized how other dragons perceived his arrogant ways and did his best to make up for it, or at least for Elizabeth. He strove to prove himself to Elizabeth and show her that he could be a gentleman despite his action and knew his kindness was winning her over. However, it was his helpfulness in saving her sister's honor that earned him a place in her heart forever, even though he didn't intend on her finding out, and the two agreed to be mates for life. Due to that decision the pair moved out of the Lightweaver's domain and into Plague's to start a new life in a new clan. Although Mr. Darcy can still be a bit of a proud wealthy upper classed dragon at times he still makes sure to reel it in a bit for the love of his life Elizabeth.
