Astrophel, a legionnaire and local fire security, is an honorable and kind man known for his sense of honor and justice. Astrophel is a master of fire magic. He grew up next to a volcano in a smithy, where he learned to control the temperamental fire burning in every Fire dragon’s heart. He’s just as fiery as the fire he wields. He loves excitement, adrenaline, sports and flying. He’s a very active dragon and hates just sitting down, doing nothing. He gets very irritated and snappy when feeling caged down. He can’t just sit around, he always has to be doing something. Astrophel loves smiles and laughter. He’ll always offer a shoulder to anyone who wants to cry and talk. He’s an optimistic dragon and tries to see the good even in the bad. He doesn’t believe someone is inherently evil and will always offer a second chance. Though Astrophel’s a very playful and lackadaisical with most things, he’s very serious and driven when it comes to the protection of his home. The usually very active and loud Guardian can be found prowling around, eyes watching, feet quiet and nimble. He has a very strict moral code he upholds and wishes to bring justice to everyone. He’s not a vengeful dragon by nature and will not hurt a downed foe or torture someone. Most assume that Astrophel’s Charge is something related to the clan due to his protectiveness. Astrophel will always remember the first time he saw her when he was returning from his rounds around the perimeter, sitting on her favorite hill, shining like an untouchable moon. His Charge. Their connection blossomed into love and Astrophel wouldn’t change it for the world. Astrophel hates it that many dislike Alcyone, some even to the extent of lashing out at her, but doesn’t have a mean bone in his body and won’t hurt them back, only defend the love of his life. Dragons are scared of a cold, frowning Astrophel who seems so different from the usual smiling, goofy self and will shrink away in fear and leave Alcyone alone. While the pair considered having children, an egg was found in the city. They decided to adopt the wee Pearlcatcher and gave her the name Azalea. They raised her to become a strong willed woman, respected and beloved by the city.
