Coming from a different clan originally, Komur had been welcomed into his new clan with open arms, although he still remembered how his mother, Emerald, had waved him off goodbye as he was being escorted to his new home. Admittedly, he had been sad to leave her, but the sense of finally being able to discover something new quickly won him over instead.
Once he made it in his new clan, Komur became fascinated with art. For someone with absolutely no talent in art whatsoever, Komur was a true appreciator of the arts. Well, perhaps he wasn’t completely untalented. The only art-related skill he had was a sufficiency in magic, and was often praised by his clanmates and others. Regardless, Komur was still questioning what his occupation could possibly be in the future, and he wasn’t entirely sure that pursuing a career in magic would be the right answer. He’s played around with the idea of becoming one of the clan’s full-time street performers, as he had participated in several of their escapades there. At the same time, he was also fairly skilled at scavenging, especially for shiny things.
At times, Komur would think about his previous clan, and thankfully, he still had good relationships with all of his former clanmates. Just this past Trickmurk Festival, he found himself enjoying some time with his old friends. Unfortunately, his mother was not one of the present dragons, but he supposed that she would have been busy at this particular time of the year anyways.
Yes, Komur thoroughly enjoyed his time in the clan. Most particularly, Komur enjoyed spending time with the beautiful Wildclaw, Harmonia. Was it wrong? Possibly. Harmonia had already had a previous nest of three. However, she had confessed to him one night that their father had been… less than satisfactory, and she left him.
Komur had to admit that when she said stuff like that, it gave him some hope. He couldn’t help but daydream about what it would be like to raise hatchlings with Harmonia, and he was pretty sure that life with the female Wildclaw would be the closest thing to heaven.
“How do you feel about me?” Komur had asked her one night, his curiosity having gotten the better of him.
“I don’t know,” she admitted, looking at him with cloudy eyes, and Komur had no idea what she was thinking.
‘Would you give me a chance?”
And much to his relief, Harmonia smiled slightly.
“Of course. But maybe not now. I don’t know when either, and I’m not sure if you want…?”
“If I want to wait?” Komur laughed lightheartedly, “I’ve waited this whole time. I can stand waiting a bit more.”
