Aventura: Shadowed Imposter
Aventurine glass is a type of glittering glass made in a low-oxygen reducing atmosphere. The finished product can take a smooth polish and be carved into beads, figurines, or other artifacts suitable for semiprecious stone, and in fact goldstone is often mistaken for or misrepresented as a natural material.

Aventura arrived amongst the clan at the beginning of the Brightshine Jubilee, claiming to be a Light-blessed emissary, here to share in their celebration. The clan, of their own free will with no magic or illusions involved at all of course, happily invited him to take a place in the center of the festivities. He was offered the first of the festival finery, his pick of the clan's jewelry and silks, and any treasure the clan made during the festival went towards the purchase of magical scrolls, that made his wings gleam like jewels and brought out golden patterns from his pure white fur. However, at the end of the Jubilee, Pear and Quince returned from their trip to celebrate Pear's own festival in her homeland, and swiftly sang the imposter off before he could be "gifted" anything else from the clan. Aventura has been lying low since then, although he is determined to find a place that will accept him as the emissary of Light he is determined to be. Aventura's fur is as soft and smooth as silk, a little longer than most tundras' and especially fine, and it gleams in the light like his namesake. He takes great pride in his appearance, spending hours grooming his fur and applying gold leaf to his claws. He particularly likes lining his eyes in gold, whose glimmer draws attention and makes it easier to work the subtle illusion that makes any gaze slide right off the mismatched color of his eyes.
