Biography
 The Wild Forest Princess
Everything in her memory is a hazy blur of color and fear. Before she was found on the edge of the Viridian Labyrinth, the young dragoness can remember nothing. Not her parents, not her home clan, not even her given birth name. Nothing at all. One day, she opened her Shadow purple eyes, and found matching ones gazing back at her curiously. In fact, she thought there was some magic trick being played on her, as the dragon standing over her was exactly the same as her. Every color, every marking, everything about them was perfectly matched. She blinked, and tried to shy away from the strange impostor. As her vision cleared, she noticed that this was a male, and that he was wearing jewelry. So not a copy of herself made to frighten. "Hello there," chirps the male Skydancer before her, the feathers around his head flared in excitement as he inches closer. "I didn't mean to startle you, but I just found you sleeping out here in the forest. It can be a little dangerous, if you don't know the area..." he chatters when she doesn't respond immediately. Or at all. The two of them sit there while the male explains where she is, who he is, and tries to convince her to return to his clan to meet the others. She is wary of everything, not wanting to admit that she can't answer his return questions because she quite literally does not know who she is nor where she came from. So she says nothing at all. "Well I have to call you something," says the male, Emerald. "And since you look just like me, for now I shall call you ... Esmeralda! That's a pretty name, don't you think?" He blinks so earnestly at her, grinning like a fool, that she cannot help but nod slightly in acceptance. Emerald is utterly delighted and practically jingles with excitement. It takes a while of stubborn, silent refusal to convince him that she will not be returning with him to his clan. Giving up, Emerald gives her some advice on which things are safe to eat around the forest, how to avoid some of the less pleasant beasts, and where the nearest stream is for water. "Here, take this too," he says before he turns to leave. Esmeralda gingerly takes the offered bracelet, gazing at the pretty green gemstone intently. It matches the ones spread across her body. With his token given, Emerald bounds off through the trees back to his home, filled to the brim with the excited news of his new found friend. His clan will hardly believe him, and so it will be some time before anyone ventures out to try and find Esmeralda. Until then, the little female begins to live her life in the forest, struggling with her lack of memory and the challenges of her new home.
