Ashlair: Reflector and Founder of Flame Reading

-Summary- Origin: Fort-Born Alignment: Tempered Good Immediate Personality: Undetermined Profession: Flame Reader Teacher Skills: Undetermined Familiar: Amaranth Moth "Wisteria". She is usually seen perched on his shoulder, as immobile and pondering as he is. Belongings: None

-History- Ashlair is, well, interested in ash and soot. He constantly rolls around in it, and half the time the rolling was caused by Slatewing tackling him in a play-fight. While Ashlair is a bit more reserved than his brothers, this third sibling is certainly no stranger to playing, though is more interested in less violent play such as puzzles and trivia. Even in adulthood, Ashlair remains a thinker and not much else. He often sits around in Fortress territory, thinking quietly to himself. Whenever prodded for a response or explanation, he seems to lose his train of thought entirely, and it can take a day or two for him to remember what he was thinking about. He can sit so still, so oblivious to his surroundings, even bewildered rival clans pass by with little concern. The Fortress guessed there wasn't much to worry about concerning a dragon who didn't even notice honeybees landing on his nose. There is a brighter side to Ashlair's philosophical ways. He is a livid dreamer, and often tries to "relive" his dreams by staring at fire; as such, the Fortress's new form of mediation was born, called "flame reading", as when his more upbeat brothers mimicked him they would grow progressively calmer and even fall asleep. Ashlair described it as replaying images in one's mind in tune with the flames. So far, it has been effective in calming even the most hyperactive or angry dragons, and Fortress uses it often, though there has only been one member so far who has actually seen something in the flames... -Extra- April Fool's 2016  "HELP ME." |
