-History- Moonburst is the most reserved of his brothers. The second-oldest of the four, he is often quiet and observant. He doesn't seem to engage in much playing, instead preferring to simply ask lots of questions and reflect on the answers. To play with his curiosity, his father Skywing purposefully left a question unanswered, and the result was that Moonburst spent much of his time conducting experiments and prodding for answers from his siblings. The question? How far could a bug fly if it had only one wing? The result? The Fortress's food hoard had many one-winged insects blundering about in confusion. Moonburst was finally satisfied by a cockroach, with his very specific conclusion of 0 meters. Since then, his fort-mates has always done their best to answer his questions, and always expect the oddities in the Fortress's territory to be a result of Moonburst's experimentation. While reaching maturity did reduce some of the ridiculousness of Moonburst's experimentation due to the presence of logic, strange things do still happen around the Fortress. Sometimes more serious things. Once there was a sealed jar of steam sitting in the Fortress hoard. In bewilderment, Cestienon picked it up and asked what it was doing there while opening it at the same time. Moonburst explained he was trying to create a Gyre by leaving steam to form in a pressurized environment. Cestienon had just given him a blank look, when the fully-fledged Steam Gyre burst out of the jar. That was not a fun mess to clean up. Moonburst can be helpful though. One time there was an incoming lava flow, and he predicted the best place to dig a trench to redirect the flow. Another time he was able to pick out the least stable parts of the ground in a geyser field. Other times, his hunting tactics had brought the best food to the Fortress. So while Moonburst can be difficult to deal with with his constant pestering for questions and answers, his knowledge is very broad and invaluable during more complicated situations. -Extra-
