MARIPOLITE - One of The Twins, two powerful Guardian brothers
tumblr_nlis0bmiz91sz016vo4_250.png Maripolite is one of a pair of dragons that came originally from the Path's End clan. Collectively called "The Twins," Fuchsite and Maripolite both knew they would not be in their new lair long. Most of this was due to the fact that Mom and Dad had also taken up residence in this lair. As much as they respected their parents, the twins bristled at the constant feeling that they were being treated like children. Day after day, they felt the tug of desire to wander. Maripolite, unlike his brother, made no attempt to simply "make the best of things." He was uninterested in friendships with the dragons in the lair and simply threw himself into a self-imposed exile. The location of this exile was, of course, the lair library. He opted to read everything the clan had available rather than interact with them. He even refused the clan leaders' attention when they were in the same room. Naturally, this concerned Ghera and Bertrand to no small degree. As tradition decreed, though, they chose not to interfere so long as he was in no danger. His wanderlust came to a head long before he ran out of text, however. Smokie, the son of notable clan battle enthusiasts Devara and Sanya, invited the twins on an extended journey to test their might and simply get away from it all. It came as a surprise to no one when they jumped at the chance to wander the lands with the young warrior. After many travels, and nearly as many injuries, Maripolite is looking for a place to settle down. He would prefer to stay in the same lair as his brother, but he understands that there are few lairs large enough to hold them both. This is especially true when they have the sorts of disagreements that are all but guaranteed by being brothers.
