Born in the heart of the ancient Coatl homelands of the Great Furnace, the little hatchling grew with an appreciation for the beauty of life. Though his father was a contradiction using ice magic despite having been born into a fire clan, Cumulus found himself to be gifted in fire magic. Taking this in stride, the little coatl learned to design art with soot and burning designs into pieces of wood. Though he loved his family very much, he chose to leave after a time to search for a new life and to sell his artwork.

In time he arrived at the entrance to the Passus Canorous who offered him a place to sleep for the night. Enchanted by their lifestyle, the young Coatl chose to stay, presenting the King and Queen of the troupe with artwork of themselves as thanks. Before long he would find a mate in a young dragon named Darya who was enchanted by his artwork.

Upon receiving a set of venom rogue apparel, Cumulus has refused to remove it, instead fancying his new lifestyle as a 'rogue'. Often this means taking things and laughing to himself about how fellow troupe mates can't see him. His mate humors his behavior, often 'helping' though he's unaware of that.
