Hawkwing isn't entirely sure why she's in this clan, or why the large purple feather-snake is dragging her along. Most importantly, she isn't sure why she should change her name. Hawkwing is pretty cool! Maybe she can become an archer - ooh, and build all these trick arrows! That's be cool.

Never mind, Voltaic is pretty cool too! Did you know there's a way of deriving energy from sunlight that's called the photovoltaic effect? It's much safer than Lightning harvesting, and much more efficient here on the edge of the Lightweaver's lands! Hawkw- no, Voltaic, doesn't know why all the systems on the island don't run off solar energy. When she asks the senior scientists about it, they just hum and look shifty or mutter about tradition or cackle manically like Paprika.

While she's still waiting on the rest of the engineers to let her convert everything to solar, Voltaic works on her other projects. She's still in love with archery, and has a little solar-powered quiver that recharges trick arrows.

Voltaic's Masked Harpy familiar was a gift from Saina's Clan, via Katreal. She traveled far to reach her new clan, and is part of the Light-flight allied Harpy Clans. She currently serves as messenger and lookout for Clan Reocailura. Her and Voltaic go on missions together!
