Amateria

Berendina Amateria loves puzzles - making them, building them, solving them. She also fights hard for survival, so maybe that's why she grabbed the little Skydancer on leaving the AH for her third clan move in a (Earth-time) month. See, she was born in Shadow lands, moved to the Southern Ice Field, and was adopted into a Water Clan - all before joining Clan Reocailura, forty earth days later. Really, it's all very simple.

Though Amateria loves puzzles, she's not nearly as underhand as Shadow Dragons are stereotyped to be. If you beat her puzzle, then you've won fair and square. That doesn't mean she won't giggle on the sidelines if you mess up - anyways, she always apologizes afterwards. She's trying to fit in with this clan, really! She really just wishes they would all stop staring at her suspiciously. When she asks Feonix, the Skydancer just sighs and says it's something to do with another Royal-colored shadow Coatl that joined the clan a while ago. Sometimes this makes Amateria wish she were another element, like Arcane.

Starfall Celebration of 2015, Amateria was gifted with a set of Cosmologist's Fieldtools. The gift spurred her interest in civil engineering, as they work very well in three-dimensional cartography. The clan is very glad to have her burgeoning surveying skills, as it will help make further lair expansions easier. No one wants a repeat of the numerous incidents that have occurred when previously expanding the island's borders through magical means.

The Mesacliff Harpy that accompanies Amateria around was accidentally brought down by Darkkon, Drusilla, and Valens when they were training in the Harpy's Roost. She doesn't remember the incident much, and seems to enjoy working with Amateria in surveying and engineering. Perhaps she was tired of the combat lifestyle and was looking for something different.
