LeafBlood spends most of her time hunting, traveling, and telling stories to the younger members of her Clan. She is half-mated to CloudChaser, a Dragon who's clan adopted her after a traumatic experience that left her orphaned while she was still a hatchling. When they both reached adulthood, Cloudchaser left his clan with her and helped her to create the new Lair which she calls home. LeafBlood, though loyal to a fault, harbors many grudges, and is very much motivated by her emotions, which typically gets her into trouble. Especially where peace on her borders is concerned. Being a Mirror dragon, she prefers to roam freely, but having a safe nest to return to after a long journey is something she is truly thankful for. The world has gotten more hospitable for separate clans since her childhood, but the wildlife is not so understanding. The most dangerous aspect of life in the abiding boneyard, infections from the wasteland, will not harm her, in fact they seem to become a part of her. This is a direct result of the Plaguemother; as Leafblood's birth mother was a devoted Plague dragon, upon her death, the Mother sent a virus through the contagion to the newly orphaned hatchling, accepting her as a child of the Plague, and granting her boons whilst she carry the plague with her.

LeafBlood's personality is very typical of a Plague dragon, strong, adaptable, and savage; she absolutely adores fights, and is skilled at Tooth and Claw fighting herself. She thoroughly enjoys collecting mementos of her fights, either lost, or won. All of her armor is pilfered from the bodies, or hoards of the losers of her fights, and her scars received from the victors. Unlike Ambrosia, her carved section of the lair is disorganized, with a large pile of still-bloodied bones she collects strewn around the smooth, shallow crater in the obsidian where she sleeps much like the decor of a gruesome throne. Inside the crater is covered by Searing Jackalope Pelts, with Stolen Mantles arranged as both pillows, and blankets. She does share this room with CloudChaser, which means there is white and lavender fur covering much of the spread, but LeafBlood uses the sleeping crater so little she doesn't really notice the fur. In a way it's almost calming for her, past experiences have left her very possessive of those close to her, and their scent is therapeutic for her. She is very quiet about this part of her personality however, when she is in the cave, she prefers to silently follow Cloudchaser around and keep him in view rather than engage in conversation or stay too close to him. This works out well for Cloudchaser, as Tundra dragons have a particularly horrendous memory, and rely on scent memories.

LeafBlood is the most brutal and adventurous dragon in the clan, she is the primary hunter, her love of bloodshed and victory gives rise to the absolute joy she derives from hunting, her dual sets of eyes are invaluable for it as well. Her second favorite pastime outside of the Lair is Scavenging, which is a mixture of her finding the assorted valuables she brings back, and winning battles with other creatures and looting their homes. She is very cautious about this, only fighting lone dragons, and dueling honorable dragons in clans who have agreed to her terms, both for her victory, and her loss. She has developed a very detailed way of fighting these types of battles, The battle itself is never to the death in a clan, and even for lone dragons, she allows them to escape if they wish to survive; if she wins in an agreed clan fight she takes only one or two items depending on how the fight went, in some cases she is given gifts for her skill from the clan, and if she loses, she donates one of her items she scavenged to the clan, and they nurse her back to health so she can continue to travel, or attempt to win her item back from another dragon in the clan. Some clans where this has happened have permanently befriended her, allowing her back, sharing stories over fresh food, and treating her as a treasured guest; in some cases an annual competition winner. LeafBlood's favorite clan to visit has arranged an entire feast around her visits, and pays her to teach the warriors in their warbands, and of course to participate in a grand competition to win lovely prizes of all sorts. Despite her outward negativity and overall terrible attitude, she has made many lasting friendships within this clan, and treats it as a second home. Offering any supplies she finds, and maintaining a lovely trade system with them.

When she's not out traveling the 11 regions, LeafBlood loves laying in the hatchery, where she can lie down and look at the eggs, and curl up next to the the new hatchlings, telling them grand stories about her adventures, and exaggerate the stories behind her scars. LeafBlood is one of the few dragons in the Clan who absolutely adores hatchlings, she has a great respect for innocence because of occurrences in her past. She has an odd belief that they should remain children as long as possible, but that they should also be more than capable of defending themselves, LeafBlood trains all of the offspring in the Clan in techniques of fighting that most would think of as far too advanced for Hatchlings to learn, but with the determination that LeafBlood inspires in them, and the great skill she possesses in unique ways of fighting, the Hatchlings learn very quickly, and end up much stronger for it; not to mention infinitely more confident in their own abilities as adults.

WARNING: LONG, GRAPHIC PROLOGUE
LeafBlood is the firstborn Progenitor of the clan she now inhabits, she is the most accomplished Tooth and Claw fighter as well; but she trains for a very specific reason, dating back to a time where she could not fight to protect herself.
Still being a hatchling, LeafBlood's mother quickly hid her; despite her eagerness to fight, she was still a hatchling, and not fit for a battle of the magnitude they were going to be put through. They were on the outskirts of Dragonhome, far too close to the Viridian Labyrinth, and the Nature Flight Dragons which inhabit it. But the the Pack had always liked to test boundaries, similar things had happened with a few Light Flight Dragons, inside the border of the Sunbeam Ruins. Of course the Plague Dragons were weak in the Light, so now the Pack felt far less threatened. It was in Plague nature to fight, and Fight they shall!
But the Older Mirrors who could still keep up with the formidable movement realized the problem, and quietly warned the mothers and physically weaker to leave, as while mirrors seldom spoke to each other, the Wilds were almost never quiet. And the Wilds were silent. So LeafBlood's mother hid her, the Plague spirit was strong in her and she felt it was right to fight. While other mothers and the unwilling split away from the Pack, those who knew what was coming readied themselves, after all how many Dragons could hide behind some trees?
Packs of Mirrors are loud, they don't speak to each other much, but there is always a large amount of noise coming from them, be it growls, hyena like laughter, howling, or the sounds of fighting, it takes a lot of effort to rally the entire pack enough to sneak into or out of places. But typically a strong pack possessed enough power to fight their way out of many problems, "They had before, and they will Again", is the common mantra carried by them, and actually most of the plague flight. So instead of leaving as any sensible, non-violent dragon would do, they waited for confrontation, and they shortly received it.
Normally, Wildclaw dragons Fight either in pairs, or alone, but 20 of the velociraptor like dragons charged out from between the trees and bushes. Those who were ready for the affront charged at them, but despite it being a large pack of about 35, there were many young Mirrors inexperienced with fighting that had joined up within Dragonhome, and the Wildclaws could easily pick them out from the otherwise fierce looking Mirrors.

It was a slaughter, the Nature dragons had split up into waves of five, and used their powerful hind legs to leap over the strong Mirrors at the front, using their wings to angle themselves and land on the backs of the young dragons. Their two long claws piercing through the skin and muscle, the larger Wildclaws completely crushing the younglings, leaving them defenseless for the killing bite behind their necks. The stronger Mirrors of course turned around to attempt to save the younger ones, but It was too late, 10 were dead already, and only five younger dragons were left; three fled, covered in the blood of their friends, and kin. The pair that stayed launched themselves at the nearest Wildclaw, both tearing into a wing, attempting to rip each one off. The larger Mirrors were now surrounded, and having turned their backs to the two waves that had not attacked yet, were at a disadvantage they had not yet realized.
The last two waves launched themselves into the air; attempting to end the lives of half the others in the same way the first two waves had succeeded in doing. But they had already exhausted their element of surprise, and only a couple managed to land squarely on the backs of the Mirrors, and even then it was not as simple, the twenty surviving larger mirrors had immediately paired up, so any Wildclaws that had landed on a Mirror were swiftly tackled off by another Mirror, who would lock their jaws around whatever body part they managed to grab. Some were lucky enough to bite or wildly claw through the exposed jugular, while others were unlucky enough to lock themselves around the legs, and were horribly gored by from the claws on the other leg.
After this the individual tactics of each group began to blur, With Wildclaws and Mirrors falling in almost equal measure, the last two younger Mirrors managed to fell their Wildclaw, tearing its wings off, and then eviscerating it's wildly convulsing body, spraying blood, and viscera across each other and the battlefield. They then proceeded to tackle another Wildclaw in an attempt to take it down much in the same manner; It was larger than their first, and by working in tandem they managed to completely shred one of it's wings, and carve deep gashes into the spinal plates before the larger of the two was pulled off by another massive Wildclaw, who managed to rip the dragon nearly in half. The smaller Youngling managed to sever the spinal cord of the first Wildclaw, and then fled from the battle.
Many had died on each side of the battle, and blood covered the ground, and oozed out of bodies and indiscernible parts of dragons. Yet still there were those that fought, of the 8 Mirrors that were left LeafBlood's mother was one of them, bleeding profusely from her back left leg, and half of her face missing; fighting the only 4 Wildclaws left. They were now paired up, back to back, facing outwards towards the Mirrors that had them surrounded. This time the Mirrors attacked first, With 3 diving in low at their legs, and 3 going high at their necks, with the last two mirrors casting magic at them.
It was done. The 8 Mirrors obliterated the 4 Wildclaws; sustaining a venerable amount of damage. But still, some wouldn't make it. Their wounds were extensive, and despite making it to a Lair that welcomed them in Dragonhome, and attempted to nurse them back to health 3 died that very night. The battle itself was a short one, only really lasting for a few hours, but the damage was lasting, the blood had stained the ground red, and no plants would grow there for many years. LeafBlood's Mother slowly gathered up her only child, and began the long trek to The Scarred Wasteland. She knew that she would not make it through her wounds, and instead gave all of her strength to getting her daughter to safety. She did not stop for two days, and only then made it to the edge of the Wandering Contagion, It was there that she made a small nest for her baby, and finally laid down. Realizing her mother only had a few moments left, LeafBlood crept close to her and nuzzled into her still bloodied neck, and shivered with grief until she felt her mother's last breath leave her.
