Glacier was born under the star of the Ice Warden. Born alone, on the ice of the Frigid Floes, he made his home there. Determined to make it on his own, he survived for a time. But he grew lonely. Upon the ice, he found a young tundra, no older than himself. He hadn't eaten in several days. Together, the two of them managed to catch food. The young Tundra's name was Iceflow. She was on her own. The two banded together. They made themselves a home, though something seemed to be missing. That was when Iceflow put their feelings into words. "We need more dragons in the lair. There are others who need a home, who need a family," she said.
Glacier agreed and so it was that the two of them began to search out others. In the meantime, the two became close. Though they knew the other wasn't their lifelong mate, they enjoyed each other's company and soon enough, hatchlings arrived. Other dragons joined them, but one by one, they all left the lair. Some (like all of Glacier and Iceflows children) left to serve the Icewarden, his call to them irresistible.

Though close, Glacier and Iceflow knew they were not life-mates. The spark simply wasn't there. In the light of finding their home, Glacier still had not completed his Search. He knew there was still something out there. Or more specifically, someone. Though he was proud of the home he and Iceflow had built, there was still someone missing. Leading this fledging clan wasn't leaving him much time to go Searching, however. He'd have to get creative OR wait for his life-mate to come to him.
